Throughout the years, the franchise has become widely notorious and hated for its huge drop in quality with each sequel (especially regarding the visuals and scripts), straying its focus away from the original characters to the pups, the critters and other secondary characters, its production being incredibly rushed with each sequel being released only a few months apart from each other, constantly refusing to listen to the fans of the original film, and for not remaining loyal to the original lore that was established in the first film, which has caused several plot holes and continuity screw-ups within almost every installment post-2010. The Alpha and Omega franchise from Lionsgate is a series of American computer animated films that consists of eight films: Alpha and Omega (2010), Alpha and Omega 2: A Howl-iday Adventure (2013), Alpha and Omega 3: The Great Wolf Games, Alpha and Omega: The Legend of the Saw Tooth Cave (both released in 2014), Alpha and Omega: Family Vacation (2015), Alpha and Omega Dino Digs, Alpha and Omega: The Big Fureeze (both released in 2016), and Alpha and Omega: Journey to Bear Kingdom (2017).
